A Helpful New Journal
on Autism
and
Related
Disorders. And it’s Free!
An exciting new journal is being developed that will publish research on the molecular basis of autism and related neurodevelopmental conditions. Instructions to sign up are at the end of this article.
It will include studies into genetics, neuropathology, neuroimaging, biomarkers, and molecular neurobiology. The primary focus is on conditions in the autism spectrum (including Asperger syndrome), but the scope encompasses molecular research into related neurodevelopmental conditions such as specific language impairment, dyspraxia, and specific or general developmental delays; and into related medical syndromes such as fragile X syndrome, tuberous sclerosis, and Rett syndrome.
All articles published in Molecular Autism will be open access, meaning they are freely available to all with the copyright retained by the authors. The editors are now accepting submissions.
